In 2006 JACOC's Special Toys for Special Kids added the Special Education Classes at the Burkett Center in Jefferson County.  They were added to the 2005 adoption of Wenonah Elementary's Special Education Class.  It is our hope that 2007 will allow our efforts the ability to adopt more.

Dear Ms. Harris and Rev. Blackburn,

Thank you again for your hard work and commitment to make Special Toys for Special Kids a reality for so many children in the Birmingham City Schools.

Additionally thank you for your assistance to ensure that the children received their toys before they went home for the Christmas hoildays.

I thoroughly enjoyed the program and look forward to partnering with

you again next year.   May you continue to be blessed for the assistance

and joy you bring to children.

Gratefully,
